Pop over to Blackstone Boulevard near University Avenue between 3:30 and 5:00 p.m. to see the art work resulting from a collaboration between School One and retirees. Over the last month, artist Ida Schmulowitz of Hamilton House has taught an inter-generational class techniques for painting en plein airPainting outdoors is just one of many creative uses for the Blackstone Parks.

Join us for Halloween activities, a woodland trail walk and sweet treats! We suggest wearing sturdy shoes and long pants or high socks as we may encounter mud, stairs, or poison ivy along the walk. Families are also encouraged to wear costumes and bring bring flashlights, small basket or bag, chairs or blanket, woods worthy shoes.  At Blackstone Field, across from the Narragansett Boat Club (2 River Drive/aka River Road, Providence, RI 02906).
