On Sunday, November 2, we had our annual RiverRide on the Seekonk. It was a beautiful, sunny day and a little cool—the iconic New England fall day! Three trips up the Seekonk River aboard a Save the Bay boat left from the Narragansett Boat Club dock and headed north to Pawtucket before returning.
The RiverRide’s expert guide, Greg Gerritt, a noted urban naturalist, environmental advocate, and wildlife videographer, shared some of the sights, along with his insights, in a beautiful video, Among the birds spotted was an eagle!
Next year’s RiverRide on the Seekonk is already in the works: we are planning for Sunday, November 8, 2026!
