Will You Support Us On This Giving Tuesday?

We are volunteers who work with the City to care for two Providence parks: Blackstone Boulevard and Blackstone Park. Our mission is to provide healthy urban green space for everyone. With your help, we do all we can to protect and improve these treasured spaces. We repair paths, care for trees, plant native species to restore biodiversity, remove graffiti, and offer free events. In addition, with vital federal, state, and municipal support, we are tackling larger projects to better manage plant communities and stormwater.
But it is only with your help that we can supplement the work of the Providence Parks Department to keep both parks beautiful, safe, and sustainable. Here are some examples of how your gift can make a difference:
$50 buys stakes to stabilize logs along 100 feet of trail
$100 provides seeds to restore vegetation on 6,000 square feet of ground
$225 covers one watering of 60 young Boulevard trees
$1,720 pays for chair rentals for the five concerts at the Boulevard Trolley Shelter
$6,200 buys high-quality mulch and tree pit care to protect 44 needy Boulevard trees
Will you contribute today to help the Blackstone parks? We deeply appreciate your support, and hope to see you in the parks soon!
