As part of the citywide Earth Month activities, on April 23rd more than 30 people worked to clean the banks of the Seekonk River. The evening weather was lovely and the trash was ugly – hundreds of pounds of garbage were removed, including a motorbike frame and a “boot” for immobilizing parked vehicles (could these be related?). Many many thanks to all the volunteers, and to our partners at Save The Bay and to the Providence Parks Department for their essential roles in this event!
