Park-Keeping

Join us at Blackstone Park’s ravine to open up spaces around new plants and remove garlic mustard from the meadow.  Tools needed: weeders, shovel, loppers, hand-pruners. We’ll meet by York Pond.

Here’s some general information about Park-keeping.
~You are welcome to drop-in for all or part of the event. That said, if you think you can come please let me know—it helps with the planning.
~ The intensity of the work varies within each event, unless otherwise noted. You can choose whether you want lighter or heavier work!
~We recommend you wear long pants and closed-toe shoes, and bring water and bug repellent.
~We can provide gloves and tools, although it helps if you can bring some.
~For updates, including work site maps and weather-related changes, visit our web and FB pages.

For questions please email Carrie Drake.

We hope to see you soon in the parks!
