Who Is That Masked Stranger in the South Garden?

Visitors to the South Garden on the Boulevard last week may have encountered a willowy masked woman carrying two large jugs of water. The water offered a clue to her identity: it was BPC volunteer Peggy Edwards, the horticulturist who tends this once wild and now-tidy space.

On her own initiative Peggy recently won a small grant from the Rhode Island Wild Plant Society that enabled her to buy the new native plants.
