Today’s Duck Walk Is Canceled, But More Duck Walks Are Coming Up

We regret to inform you that today’s Duck Walk with Dan Berard is canceled, due to inclement weather.

Thankfully, there will soon be more opportunities to explore the river in search of ducks and other birds and experience the changes and importance of the Blackstone Corridor. As the winter weather changes by the day so do the ducks, loons, raptors and many other species of birds which rely on the open water of the river. As waters further north freeze, more ducks and grebes may move to the river. Harsh ocean conditions may bring in sea ducks and loons. Every day is different!

Dan will return to Blackstone Park and the Seekonk for more Duck Walks on February 22 and March 8Registration strongly recommended. Dan Berard is an expert naturalist, ornithologist and educator. Children are welcome to walk with their parents. Bring your binoculars, spotting scopes, camera.
