Blackstone Parks Conservancy hosted a lecture last night in partnership with Audubon of Rhode Island. It was about the dangers of pesticides, presented by ornithologist Charles Clarkson, and specifically targeted to residents of the East Side of Providence due to their proximity to the river and the greenway that is an important stopover for birds. Thank you to all who attended- including Representative Kislak, who help Audubon and other partners pass legislation to regulate neonic pesticides in 2022.
