Moonrise rescheduled, but RiverRide goes ahead on Sunday September 15th

One of our signature annual events, Moonrise on the Seekonk, originally planned for September 14th, has been rescheduled for Monday, November 11th (Veterans Day) at 4:00pm, to comply with the Rhode Island Health Department’s recent recommendations for protection against the EEE virus include minimizing exposure at dusk. By mid-November we expect all mosquitos and the EEE threat to have been eliminated by overnight frost.

Our other mid-September event, RiverRide on the Seekonk will go ahead on Sunday, September 15th.  There will be three boat rides, departing at 11am, 11:50 and 12:40pm – all safely outside the times when extra precautions are recommended.  Due to high demand, and we are presently only taking waiting list requests, only for the 11:50 and 12:40 rides.

In light of RiverRide‘s popularity, we are pleased to inform you that we are currently planning a second RiverRide, for Sunday, October 20th. Reservations will start on Monday, September 23rd.
